Wonderful HP Paper entries at Paperovation 2011

The Paperovation 2011 competition ended on Friday the 1^st of July at the beautiful Oakhouse Guesthouse in Cullinan, where the HP paper entries were displayed and the winners were announced. Guests at the function enjoyed a lovely lunch and relaxed in the peaceful atmosphere of Cullinan. The competition involved 14 companies from Engineering, Architectural and Mining backgrounds and each company received two rolls of free HP paper. A roll of HP Instant-Dry Semi-Gloss Photo Paper and a roll of HP Everyday Adhesive Matte Polypropylene made for interesting and high quality prints.

 These prints and one display all made from HP paper were adjudicated by Jaun-Onic Maritz from Hewlett-Packard, Braam de Villiers from the Pretoria Institute for Architecture and Johan Prinsloo from the Institute for Landscape Architecture.

 The winners in the different categories are as follows:

• Best Photographic Print – UNISA University Estates

• Best Graphic Design Print – Aurecon Engineering

• Best Collage/GIS Print – Uys & White Landscape Architects

• Best Rendering print – Design-a-Plan Architects

• Best Creative Use of Media – Boogertman & Partners Architects

• Best Line Drawing Print – Belvedere Architects

 The winners each received a floating trophy as well as prizes including a duffle bag, whisky hamper, Musica voucher, two free rolls of HP paper and more.
